Jaya & Vig's Unforgettable Indian Wedding: A Photographic Journey

I was honoured to be invited by the amazing Jaya and Vig to join their incredible celebrations in Chandigarh, India. With my travel camera in hand, I had the pleasure of capturing their spectacular three-day wedding, a journey filled with vibrant traditions and unforgettable moments. Day 1: Mehndi & Sangeet

The wedding festivities kicked off with the Mehndi and Sangeet ceremonies. The atmosphere was electric with joy and anticipation as the couple’s families and friends gathered to celebrate. My focus was on capturing the intricate details of the Mehndi designs and the lively energy of the Sangeet. These early moments set the stage for a truly memorable celebration.

Day 2: Haldi Ceremony

The second day was nothing short of spectacular, featuring the vibrant Haldi Ceremony. This ritual was a kaleidoscope of colours, with turmeric being applied to the bride and groom in a beautiful and joyful tradition. I was covered in turmeric myself, but it was worth it to get some of my favourite shots before my camera was safely stowed away for a splash in the pool. The colours and emotions from this day are some of the most vivid and cherished moments from the entire wedding.

Day 3: Final Celebrations

As the final day of Jaya and Vig’s wedding arrived, the celebrations reached their pinnacle. It was a culmination of three days of heartfelt rituals and joyous gatherings. The final images capture the essence of this incredible journey, showcasing the beauty and emotion of a wedding that was truly unforgettable.
